Have you wondered what is happening on Highway 11? It is great news for Sylvan Lake’s west side!
The Alberta Highway 11 twinning project will twin four sections of highway between Rocky Mountain House and Sylvan Lake.
According to https://www.alberta.ca/highway-11-twinning-project.aspx the David Thompson Highway leads to “some of the most breathtaking scenery in Canada and is a popular route for the tourism industry.”
The twinning will allow residents of Sixty West, guests of Waterford Station and Pogadl Park easier access in and out of Sylvan Lake. This is a welcoming convenience for visitors and west-side residents alike!
